We cater to each job’s specific needs, and guarantee satisfaction with all our work. Our boat covers are designed and produced with quality and care. Our in-house covers are made with a snug one-of-a-kind fit, complete with proper fitment as well as reinforced pressure points to reduce common wear and tear.

Boat Cover Bookings

We are officially beginning to book in winter appointments for boat covers. Book-ins start from November 18th, 2024 up until spring in 2025. Call us at (306).563.4443 to book in your boat.

REMINDERS FOR CUSTOMERS:

Please winterize your boat before dropping it off at our location.

Bookings are not available Dec. 23rd, 2024 - Jan. 5th, 2025.

Your boat will be here for a full week (Monday-Friday) or longer for your cover to be made.

Boat Cover Booking & Deposit Policy

As of October 21st, 2024, Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. has put a policy in effect in regards to bookings. The policy reads as follows:

Purpose:

The purpose of this written policy is to establish procedures for the process of booking a custom boat cover with Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg.

Objective:

The objective of this policy is to: 

  • To reduce double-bookings.

  • To reduce the amount of booked appointments that are missed.

  • Improve efficiency for both employees and customers.

  • Promote accountability for customers regarding rescheduling and no-shows.

  • Provide clear channels for customers to ask questions and/or make changes to appointments.

  •  Align booking procedures with organizational standards and industry regulations to maintain quality and reliability.

Disclaimers:

If an appointment is booked during the off-season, the boat must be winterized. Boats will be stored outside once the cover is made until pick up.

Boats must be insured during the time it is on Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. property. The $500 deposit fee is mandatory as of the effective date of this policy.

ALL DISCLAIMERS ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE

Statement:

Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. is committed to providing customers with an efficient and streamlined process for booking in a custom fit boat cover. Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. guarantees quality and precision at all times while producing and installing a customer’s boat cover. A customer’s property will be handled with care while it is on Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. property.

A $500 refundable deposit fee will be required when booking an appointment for a boat cover to be made. Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. requires a deposit fee to secure a customer’s booked spot. The deposit fee will be refunded once the custom cover is completed and the deposit fee will be used toward the total bill.

A customer’s boat must be at our location for a minimum of 5 business days (Monday-Friday) or longer in order for a boat cover to be made. Customers will be notified if a cover will take longer than the minimum 5 business days.

Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. does not do emergency bookings for the repair of a customer’s boat cover. A boat must be dropped off 2-3 days (Friday/Saturday) prior to the booked appointment.

A completed boat cover must be paid for in full by the customer before it leaves Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. property. 

Pictures will be taken of a customer’s boat and trailer upon arrival. These pictures are strictly confidential and will not be shared outside of Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. Pictures are taken as a liability and for safety protocol. Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. will record a customer’s VIN number and license plate for the same reason.

Responsibilities:

Both the employee and the customer have responsibilities, as listed below:

Responsibilities of the customers:

  • Provide accurate information. 

  • Be punctual: have your boat at our location 2-3 days before your appointment. Be on time to pick up your boat once the cover is completed.

  • Be prepared: please have your boat clean, dry, and winterized (winterization is only required if your boat is booked in off-season).

  • Pay for the $500 booking deposit fee before booked time.

Responsibilities of the employee:

  • Maintain confidentiality.

  • Maintain quality while producing a custom boat cover.

  • Regularly update booking availability.

  • Send confirmation of the appointment to the customer and remind them of any necessary preparations.

  • Adhere to Canora Weaving & Tarp Manufacturing’s policies and procedures.

  • Obtain a $500 booking deposit fee from the customer.

Compliance:

Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. expects both the employee and the customer to adhere to the Boat Cover Booking & Deposits Policy. By adhering to this policy, Canora Weaving & tarp Mfg. aims to hold accountability for customers and employees throughout the boat cover production process. Employees are encouraged to report non-compliance of any kind to a supervisor immediately.

In the event that a boat cover is completed but not paid for and a customer requires their boat, the cover and all accessories that Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. installed will be removed and the boat will be returned to the customer.

If Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg. does not receive the complete $500 booking deposit fee from a customer before the scheduled appointment, the scheduled appointment becomes void and a custom boat cover will not be produced.

Bringing a boat during off-season that is not winterized will result in a voided appointment and a boat cover will not be produced.

Refusal to have pictures of the boat taken will result in a voided appointment and a boat cover will not be produced.

Canora Weaving & tarp Mfg. has the right to refuse service to any customer.

Non-compliance of this policy will result in a voided appointment and a boat cover will not be produced.

Exceptions:

The $500 deposit fee will not be refunded to the customer if the customer does not show up for their pre-booked appointment.

If a customer does not show up to their pre-booked appointment with reason (ex: unforeseen circumstance), then the customer will have the option to:

  1. Cancel booking and get the $500 deposit fee refunded.

  2. Re-book their appointment for a later date.

Reason for missing appointment must be communicated to Canora Weaving & Tarp Mfg.

The $500 deposit fee will not be refunded to the customer if the customer does not pay for their boat covers.

Winter Storage

CWTM's new offer, boat storage! We will store your boat for you during the winter months for you after we've made your custom-fit cover.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About Our Boat Covers:

Q: What material do you use for making boat tarps?

A: We use Ennis Fabric's Atlantis fabric line. it's a 100% solution-dyed polyester fabric with a polyurethane coating on one side to repel water while still keeping a breathable material. We use vinyl PVC to reinforce areas that are likely to wear/tear over the years.

Q: Do you need my boat to make the custom cover?

A: For a newly made cover, yes. We need your boat in-house to be able to reference its dimensions directly to create a snug fit. However, if you have a boat cover that needs to be repaired bringing your boat won't be necessary. Just bring us your cover and we will patch/reinforce it or replace any hardware.

Q: How long will you keep my boat for?

A: We will keep your boat, on average, for about 5 business days to complete your new custom-fit cover. This amount of time required to complete your cover is non-negotiable.

Q: What if I just need repairs?

A: We should only need a couple days to repair your cover, but an exact time frame cannot be given. Each cover is different and will have specific needs. Please contact us to determine a time-frame for your boat cover repairs.

Q: Can you make a cover for any boat?

A: We can create coverings for any kind of boat (pontoons, speed boats, fishing boats, etc.) and most boat accessories (bimini tops, motor covers, etc.) We make different styles of boat covers to best fit your needs (tie-down/snap cover).
